Not for College Days Alone

Welcome to the official online home of the Phi Upsilon Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta. This is where our brotherhood stays connected, from current members to our graduate brothers. We are proud of our traditions and the lifelong friendships that make our chapter what it is.

Thank    You Advisors

We want to take a moment to thank all of our advisors for all they do for our chapter. We thoroughly appreciate all of you for your hard work and dedication. You all are the definition of "Not for College Days Alone." In particular, we would like to acknowledge Michael Collins, Hayes EllisRuss Lemay and Bill Rogers

Our chapter, our legacy

The Phi Upsilon chapter of Phi Gamma Delta at the University of North Alabama was established in the spring of 1974. The national fraternity itself traces its founding back to May 1, 1848, at Jefferson College in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, but the Phi Upsilon chapter specifically was chartered on March 23, 1974, at what was then Florence State University, becoming the local chapter of Phi Gamma Delta on that campus. Since its founding, the chapter has been part of the university’s interfraternity community and lives by the organization’s values of friendship, knowledge, service, morality, and excellence.
